Jewish General director in business with contractor
A manager at the Jewish General Hospital is admitting he made a mistake when he went into business with a supplier the hospital deals with.
Technical Services Director Kotiel Berdugo and the supplier bought a property across the street from the hospital in 2010. They nearly doubled their money when they flipped the apartment building for $1.5 million last year.
The Journal de Montreal says during the period of ownership, the partner continued to land contracts with the Jewish General and the administration was never advised of the relationship.
