Marois still ducking Charter questions
Premiere Pauline Marois once again avoided questions abou the ongoing Charter of Values controversy.
At a press event announcing a $1.2-million loan to Technicolor, a local movie special effects company, she told a CJAD reporter when asked that she simply had no comment to make on the issue.
She added that because the Charter is now at the consultation stage, she invited the public to comment on it.
The Charter file, she noted, "is an important one for us."
This comes a day after a demonstration of several hundred people marched through downtown Montreal in support of the Charter, and a week and a day after tens of thousands took to the streets to denounce it.
