More carpooling spots at commuter train stations
There'll be more reserved spots for carpoolers at commuter train stations.
The Metropolitain Transport Agency (AMT) has added 63 parking spots for those who subscribe to the carpool program, for a total of 500 spots. Most of the new spots, 10 of them, will be at the Deux Montagnes station.
Just last year the AMT added 105 spots, and increased the number of parking lots from 23 to 54.
The carpooling program that began in 2005 has 7300 subscribers.
