More video game jobs for Montreal
Hard on the heels of this week's announcement that Ubisoft would be hiring hundreds of people in the coming years for its new on-line game development centre in Montreal comes word that Warner Brother Games is expanding as well. It intends to hire an additional 100 employees in this city.
WB Games has been here since 2010 and when it came in it promised to create 300 jobs over five years in exchange for a 7.5-million dollar subsidy from the province. That original goal has been more than surpassed.
As she was for the Ubisoft announcement, Premier Pauline Marois is expected to be on hand later this morning for the WB Games news conference.
