St. Hubert launches eco-friendly initiative
The popular St. Hubert restaurant chain is about to become the first in Quebec to set up a composting program in each of its outlets.
It'll be an expansion of a successful pilot project St-Hubert introduced at some of its restaurants in 2010.
A company spokesperson says about 2800 tons of compostable material can be recovered every year at its restaurants.
It's hoped the project will be extended to every St. Hubert outlet by the beginning of 2015.
