Duffy, Wallin and Brazeau to be suspended without pay?
There's a motion before the Senate that would see embattled Senators Mike Duffy, Pamela Wallin and Patrick Brazeau suspended form the upper chamber without pay.
All three are under investigation after they're alleged to have filed ineligible claims linked to housing and travel expenses.
The government leader of the Senate, Claude Carignan, introduced the motion this morning, which will be voted on when the Senate resumes sitting next week.
If the motion carries, the three would be suspended without pay, but would also not be allowed access to Senate resources or living allowances.
Today, Duffy announced he would be taking leave from the Senate for health reasons.
