Filiatrault apologizes for "crazy" crack
The Quebec show biz producer who said Muslim women who choose to wear headscarves are crazy is now apologizing.
Denise Filiatrault went on Twitter and Facebook last evening to admit her comment was inappropriate.
She says that eventhough she has always spoken colourfully, the debate over secularism and the proposed Charter of Quebec Values requires a more measured choice of words.
Filiatrault says it was her grandson who convinced her to apologize. He told his grandmother that he didn't recognize her in the "crazy" statement.
