Transport Quebec worker killed in work accident
A Transport Quebec worker lost his life today under the Charles-de-Gaulle bridge, linking the eastern tip of Montreal island to Repentigny.
The incident happened just before noon today on the Repentigny side of the bridge.
It appears the 54-year-old worker was crushed by a front-end loader he was attempting to lift onto a flat-bed truck.
The workers' health and safety board is now investigating.
