Another anti-charter protest on Sunday
There's another demonstration against the PQ's proposed Charter of Values planned for this upcoming Sunday October 27.
This time it's organized by three Muslim groups.
The groups say they have at least 20 associations representing different cultures and religions marching with them.
“First and foremost we are all Quebecers,” Geneviève Lepage with les Québécois Musulmans pour les droits et libertés, said at a press conference Thursday.
“We need to unite our forces to contribute positively to this nation and claim our fundamental right to equal access to the work place.”
The protest will begin at 2 pm at Square Phillips, at the corner of University and Sainte-Catherine Streets.
