Hospital staff, patients remember murdered nurse
Over 60 people turned out for a noon hour memorial at the Montreal General Hospital for one of their nurses who was stabbed to death at her home in Riviere-des-Prairies last week.
Christa-Andree Georges was remembered at Livingstone Hall at a service featuring piano music, readings and prayer.
The 33-year-old nurse worked in the geriatric and hemodialysis units.
Her spouse Mario Deka has been charged in connection with her death.
Hospital staff are also raising money for a fund to help Georges' 18-month-old daughter who is now being cared for by relatives.
