Minimall, mega eyesore
| In Pointe-Claire, at the bottom of Sources blvd. and Aut. 20, lies a beauty for everyone to see on their way to work and back. Why has this eyesore been around for so long? I think back in the day it was a Steinberg's grocery store, closed for at least 10 years with the exception of a VLT bar (Savannah's) which finally shut down a couple of years ago. If you ask me, I think that bar had a deal with the city, keeping that entire mall from being leveled. And while your at it, that overpass beside it should be leveled too, not only an eyesore but a safety risk to all, many accidents on the merges and a nightmare a rush hour. Would love to hear a follow up story on this. |
