Andrew came to CJAD in September of 2010, the latest stop in a career that began at CKGM in 1976. Between then and now Andrew has worked as a reporter, radio newscaster, producer, show host and News Director. He also worked as a television weather specialist at The Weather Network, eventually becoming Bureau Manager where his responsibilities included production of live network coverage of breaking weather events such as the Saguenay Flood of 1996, and the 1997 “Flood of the Century” in Manitoba. In the fall of 1997, Andrew moved to Global Television as a news anchor and eventually became the anchor and co-host of the breakfast show “This Morning Live”.
A part time day actor, Andrew has appeared in several feature films never straying far from his first love playing, a newscaster, a news anchor, or a news reporter.
Yes, he has been typecast but his claim to fame includes scenes with actors such as Donald Sutherland and Bridget Fonda. His interests include skiing, hockey, hiking and traveling and he is an avid runner who hopes one day to qualify for The Boston Marathon
