You knew him from his 12 years with CTV Montreal as a noon & 6pm anchor and the station’s investigative reporter. Nowadays, Todd van der Heyden is anchoring weekdays 2-5pm on CTV News Channel, the network’s coast-to-coast all-news cable channel. He's also hosts his very own show on CJAD. “Viewpoints with Todd van der Heyden” airs Saturdays from 12-3pm with a partial rebroadcast on Sundays from 2-3pm.

A little more on Todd van der Heyden
Van der Heyden has been a broadcaster in Canada for 15 years. He started his professional career in 1997 in Montreal working for CBC Radio and for Videotron community television. He was hired full time at CTV Montreal (then known as CFCF-12) in 2000. Van der Heyden went on to win numerous awards for his investigative “On Your Side” segment and for his general reporting. He became the noon and 6pm anchor of CTV Montreal in 2008 and later joined CTV News Channel in 2012.
Van der Heyden has a journalism degree from Carleton University and a communication studies degree from Concordia University.
