A little more on Todd:

Born in Montreal and raised in Montreal, Oakville and Ottawa, Todd has been a TV & radio broadcaster in Canada for almost 20 years.

He graduated from Carleton University with a bachelor in Journalism and has a post-grad in Communication Studies from Concordia University. He started his professional career in 1997 working for both CBC Radio and local community television. He also wrote some freelance articles for The Toronto Star.

Todd was hired at CTV in early-2000 and went on to win numerous awards for his investigative “On Your Side” segments and other reporting. He first began anchoring in 2005 – eventually becoming the local 6 o’clock news anchor for CTV Montreal  and in 2012 – was promoted to the national level for CTV News. Todd also occasionally anchors both on CTV’s marquis morning show, Canada AM and the network’s flagship 11pm show, The CTV National News.

During his career, Todd has covered all kinds of stories from the international to the hyper-local; from reporting from New York City on the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks to being in Rome for the election of the new Pope in March 2013 or the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in 2014. He has also taught broadcast journalism and as a member of ACTRA, has appeared in television and movies.
