Heil honoured by Governor-General
She's Canada's Queen of the Moguls. Now she's won an award from Queen Elizabeth.
Jenn Heil was honoured by Governor-General David Johnston with a Queen's Diamond Jubillee award in Montreal Tuesday.
The native Albertan who came to Montreal to attend McGill competed in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Olympics, winning gold in Turin and following up with a silver in Vancouver---the first Canadian to medal with home mountain advantage in BC.
Heil was a guest on the Andrew Carter Morning Show at 8:10, and will be featured Saturday at 6PM on CJAD 800's "The Locker Room."
Heil is a great ambassador for "The Right to Play" and the "Because I am a Girl" charity campaigns.
