Villeneuve cashing out Quebec homes

Jacques Villeneuve is selling his Westmount mansion and his "shack" in Harrington.

The former F-1 champion is selling his properties to move back to Quebec.   The house on the hill will set you back $6.5 million for a cozy 6500 sq. ft. of living space on just 10,600 sq. foot property.

The cottage in the Laurentians is worth a look though: comes with your private lake and more than 850 acres touching the Riviere Rouge.

Better be prepared for a tax bill: in Westmount you'll play $27,000, while the cabin up north will "only" set you back $8300 per year.

With the impending personal income tax hikes in Quebec there is little to hold him in Que. He could go to France and take home a lot more
