Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will take on Nick Diaz at the Bell Centre in UFC 158 on March 16.

The hometown hero held a pre-fight press conference today and says he's excited for the challenge.

"The thing I like about Nick Diaz is he's a very exciting fighter. I know when I fight him, he's going make the best come out of me in the octagone." 

St Pierre made a comeback in November after being sidelined 18 months with a knee injury. He won November's fight against Carlos Condit and says he's happy for a quick turnaround to fight diaz.

 "Very fast between the two fights, I said that's what I wanted to have. I said I wanted to be in action and back quick after my last fight"
