Dear Mum,
I was seven when I discovered that you were fat, ugly and horrible. Up until that point I had believed that you were beautiful - in every sense of the word. I remember flicking through old photo albums and staring at pictures of you standing on the deck of a boat. Your white strapless bathing suit looked so glamorous, just like a movie star. Whenever I had the chance I'd pull out that wondrous white bathing suit hidden in your bottom drawer and imagine a time when I'd be big enough to wear it; when I'd be like you.
But all of that changed when, one night, we were dressed up for a party and you said ...

Why was this girl banned from her prom?

School officials in Washington blocked Britany Minder from attending her prom for apparently breaking the school's dress code. He listed his favourite spots for authentic BBQ and doughnuts in Montreal.
Check out his review here for more information about his favourite four joints: Icehouse, Dinette Triple Crown, Diablos Smokehouse and Blackstrap BBQ.
Jason's preferred doughnuts? The bite-sized goodness that is Mr Puffs in Chomedey and the cream-filled doughnut wonders of Léché Desserts, Montreal's "first artisanal doughnut boutique".
Also, Jason told us what a cronut is - and whether we should expect to see something like it in Montreal.

Recent newlyweds Elyssa and Anthony Cipriani decided to take action based on his son's experience. The 8-year-old started recounting uncomfortable situations: some of his peers were getting taunted and picked on. When that happened, the Ciprianis decided to do something different.
They founded an apparel company and fundraiser last February called Hate the Hate. And while they have not reached non-profit status, they keep nothing for themselves: their proceeds go towards Kids Help Phone.
This weekend Hate the Hate is holding a first annual softall tournament in DDO - and they can use your help! Prancercise is a form of free-spirited exercise - 'a springy, rhythmic way of moving forward, similar to a horse’s gait and ideally induced by elation.'
That woman in the white leggings is Joanna Rohrback, the Florida-based owner of a company that vows to "liberate ourselves from the FITNESS CHAINS.'' She developed her form of fitness back in 1989.

Maybe it's all the rain we've been getting? Or problems with tap water?
In any case, we called up someone with some advice for beating fatigue the natural way.

A group of men asked her to show her breasts, and other body parts - in pretty crude terms.
Did the management do anything? Nope. The manager told Christina they thought she enjoyed it.
Christina stayed quiet about the incident, business being business.
But she decided to speak up when her upcoming gig at the same venue was cancelled, and she wrote about the experience in XO Jane.
