Willem B posted on 08/08/2012 03:28 PM I LOVE IT!!!! So, did she mind the "sun aftertaste" ? The cookies were baked "low and slow" as the Southern Barbecue folks like to say. I'm not so sure it caused all of the chemical reactions to occur as designed but they were obviously tasty. So Aaron, how about trying to slow-cook some meat on a hot sunny day? Southern Barbecue, pulled brisket or chicken, can be cooked at temperatures as low as 175 F over several hours. So I am wondering whether an entire day in your car would qualify.... True, cookies are a lot safer to test but it would be a fun experiment nonetheless.
