It's a scorcher out there, and Aaron thought it would be a great opportunity to try to conduct a little baking experiment!

Is it possible to bake cookies on a car dashboard on a hot day? The age-old question was answered Thursday on The Aaron Rand Show!

Did they bake properly? Did Aaron, Chantal, Dan and Matt eat them afterward?

Have all your questions answered in the brilliant 2-part video series below, courtesy Catherine Smith-Desbiens of the CJAD web department!

    I LOVE IT!!!!

So, did she mind the "sun aftertaste" ?

The cookies were baked "low and slow" as the Southern Barbecue folks like to say.

I'm not so sure it caused all of the chemical reactions to occur as designed but they were obviously tasty.

So Aaron, how about trying to slow-cook some meat on a hot sunny day?

Southern Barbecue, pulled brisket or chicken, can be cooked at temperatures as low as 175 F over several hours. So I am wondering whether an entire day in your car would qualify....

True, cookies are a lot safer to test but it would be a fun experiment nonetheless.

    A GREAT segment!
