Today on The Aaron Rand Show we welcomed one of the greatest guitarists of all time from one of the most iconic bands of all time.

When one thinks of The Doors, they often think of Jim Morrison. But some of the most famous Doors songs of all time including  "Light My Fire", "Love Me Two Times", "Touch Me", and "Love Her Madly" were all written by guitarist Robby Krieger.

Aaron was thrilled to welcome Krieger on the air, leading up to his participation in the 10th anniversary of the Donald Berman Maimonides Battle of the Bands fundraiser.

Take a listen to the full, unedited interview in the audio player on the right! Even if you heard it live on the air, there is web-exclusive content here, including some fascinating questions about Jim Morrison.

The  Donald Berman Maimonides Battle of the Bands fundraiser. event will be held on Tuesday December 4 and Wednesday December 5th 2012 at Metropolis. This year Robby Krieger will be performing with each of the eight bands over two nights. The Donald Berman Maimonides Battle of the Bands features baby-boomer bands made up of dentists, doctors, lawyers, stockbrokers and entrepreneurs who showcase their musical talent to raise money for Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre.
