Rushing king hungry as ever
The CFL's rushing king insists he's as hungry as ever. Not content with a league-leading yardage total in his first season as a starter, Brandon Whitaker wants to be sure 2012 ends without the sour taste in his mouth of a playoff loss like last November.
The former Baylor tailback took an extended break after the 2011 Als' elimination to recharge phsyically and emotionally. He even went "Old School" and checked out the Heisman Trophy on campus for inspiration.
Now he's ready for the new season full of confidence as the Als face the Argos Tuesday in a unique noon Opening Kickoff live on CJAD 800.
Listen to Brandon Whitaker as Toronto and the rest of the CFL try to knock him off his thrown.
