Anthony Calvillo guided the Alouettes to three straight wins and has been named the CFL's offensive player for August.

Calvillo completed 64-of-97 passes for 1,024 yards and seven TDs over that span, throwing for at least 300 yards in each contest.

The 40 year old pivot leads the Als into their game tomorrow night vs the Lions at Molson Stadium. It's a 7 o'clock countdown to kickoff on CJAD.

On the eve of the game, Calvillo said the Als coaches came up with a new gameplan and the Lions will have to be on their toes.

Coach Marc Trestman then told reporters it's been basically the same formula every week.

The Als, already in first place in the East, will try to run their record to 6-3.
