Bowman itching to play
The beauty of winning your division in the CFL is having a bye during the first week of the playoffs. It gives teams a chance to work on their game-plan and allows injured players to heal.
But it can be a double-edged sword. Teams that don't enjoy the bye week usually say their opponents will have to shake off some rust. The Als haven't played in two weeks and Anthony Calvillo has been off for three weeks.
Defensive end John Bowman is definitely anxious to play. He and I talked this morning about the challenges of stopping Argos quarterback Ricky Ray and receiver/returner Chad Owens.
