Grey Cup hearts tug ex-Alouettes

Alouette alumni and CJAD 800 analysts Dave Mudge and Ed Philion predict "Arrrrrrgos" in the 100th Grey Cup.   I second that emotion.

Philion has pounded into Ricky Ray during previous Alouette heartbreaks, though savored champagne in 2002 after knocking the then Eskimos QB around.   He says when Ray is on his game, with a partisan crowd, he's extremely difficult to beat.

The 2012 Alouettes know that all too well, and of course Chad Owens has since won CFL MOP honours.

Mudge expects the Argos to win by 5, I'm calling the Argos by 10, 33-23.

Anwar Stewart was a teammate of both men, and the ex-Alouette vowed he'd win his 2nd ring of 2012...having married earlier this season.   Stewart has injected leadership into the Stampeders room and will have to have a big night if Ray is going to feel the heat.
