Flory calling off retirement thoughts too

Scott Flory has been around the CFL long enough to know you don't upstage your star quarterback.

Flory admits though that the promotion of Pat Meyer from Offensive Line to Offensive Co-ordinator pretty much lays to rest any thoughts he had of retiring before his 37th birthday (July 2013).

"He's an awesome coach, a great person and he gets the best out of us," Flory raved on the eve of Calvillo's confirmation of returning for a 20th season.

"We bought into what he was selling because he's true-blue, no snakeoil salesman."

Flory was voted a CFL allstar for the 9th time in his career during 2012, most of his years spent blocking at the right guard position for Calvillo.
