Like Tim Tebow he may never set foot in Canada, but Kansas State's touchdown sensation Collin Klein is Alouette property if he does.

Klein won Heisman Trophy consideration though his recent performance in the East West Shrine Game in Florida (scouted by the Als) was not his finest outing.

Like Tebow, some wonder if he's suited to the NFL.  Klein has declined suggestions he should switch positions to go pro.

Former NFL coach Jerry Glanville was quoted by AP as saying Klein "has so many pluses to him he reminds me years ago of a youngster at Tennessee, went on and played for the Colts, now he plays for Denver. I see a lot of the same characteristics in him."

At Kansas State in 2012, Klein racked up a passer efficiency rating of 149 while scoring a Big 12 record and FBS quarterback record 27 touchdowns.

Als GM Jim Popp usually keeps about a dozen NFL or college QB's on his "neg list" and holds their rights as long as the team wishes.
