Alouettes schedule leaked
CFL sources have told CJAD's Joey Alfieri that the Montreal Alouettes will open the season in Winnipeg on Thursday, June 27 and that the Bombers will visit Montreal on July 4th.
That gives new coach Dan Hawkins the chance to light up the sky over Molson Stadium with some on-field fireworks of his own.
Alfieri also confirmed that the Alouettes first chance to take on the defending champion Toronto Argonauts will be August 8th at Molson Stadium. In what could be a crucial game for playoff seeding, the Als also close out regular season against the 100th Grey Cup champs.
The Als are also roadtripping to Moncton, New Brunswick for a game against the Tiger-Cats in September. The CFL is expected to confirm the schedule details today.
