The holidays are the perfect time for breaking out a new bottle of wine or bubbly... So weather you’re hosting or being hosted, you might be looking for a couple of great picks this holiday season.

Sommelier Jessica Harnois joined the morning show this morning with her top picks for the holiday season.  For more on Jessica and her wine choices, check out www.jessicaharnois.com

Bubbles :

Nothing beats a good bottle of Champagne, but it's expensive when you celebrate with lots of people. That's why I suggest drinking a good Cava, the spanish version. My favorite is Pares Balta, bio & pure, this is a great quality price. For 16$ you can go wrong! Clean, sharp with a nice citrus flavor, this will be a HIT to kick off any party!

White :

Wanna drink something unusual? Try this funky blend called Evolution from Oregon! Almost all the popular grapes are in this mix! Making it very interesting for is sexy notes of flower & tropical fruits. This bottle is a palate pleaser ;) perfect with spicy food.

Red :

Of course, lots of people love Menage a Trois. If you want to try something similar & new, there's a new product called Curious Beast. A blend of red grapes that end up making a very jucy wine. Fun packaging, all red! Perfect for xmas!

But wine lovers would prefer trying the 'Sexy Beast' by Two Hands. A top australian cuvée, a bit hard to find but a got myself a few bottles for xmas!
