If you were listening to the show last week, you heard Christopher Quaratino telling the story of what it was like to live in the house that came to be known as the Amityville Horror. And it occurred to me to do a show about ghosts and paranormal activity in general.

With me in studio tonight were ghost hunter(no joke) Jacques Poirier as well as Louise Hebert who runs "Old Montreal Ghost Tours" and storyteller Donovan King.

Jacques brought with him audio recordings of paranormal activity which were, to say the least, very creepy to hear.

Donovan told the story of an infamous Montreal ghost named Mary Gallagher, who's expected to make her next appearance in Griffintown next year.

And Louise told us that a lot of people take advantage of her business to learn about Montreal ghost lore.

Did I mention the callers who told us about their experiences with ghosts? There was no shortage.
