Reporting from Ground Zero
Tomorrow marks the 11th anniversary of 9/11 when more than 3,000 people were killed when four airplanes were hijacked. Burned into millions of memories are the images of two planes crashing into the World Trade Center towers in New York.
Another plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington, DC and a fourth plane crashed in rural Pennsylvania after passengers on that aircraft tried to take control of the jet from the hijackers.
Former CJAD reporter Tim Parent covered 9/11. Tim is now the brand director at CKTB in Ste. Catherines, Ont.
We spent some time tonight looking back at 9/11, Tim's memories of what he saw and heard. And the stories that came forward on that terrible day.
