Iran must be stopped

Posted By: Barry Morgan · 9/27/2012 7:37:00 PM

If you happened to miss Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address at the United Nations today, he effectively asked if you would feel safe with a nuclear Iran.

I know I would not.

Iran says its nuclear ambitions are for peaceful purposes. This is from a regime that threatens to wipe Israel from the face of the Earth.

And we're supposed to trust Iran when it says it wants nuclear power for peaceful reasons.

Netanyahu says the world must draw a clear "red line'' to make Iran back down from its nuclear plans. He adds the threat of force must be seriously considered.

I hope it doesn't come to that. But I'm puzzled, to say the least, as to why there hasn't been more international condemnation of Iran on this front.

This is larger than just an Israeli-Iran issue. This is an issue that can literally affect the security of the entire world.

Can you imagine if a country like Iran has nuclear weapons capability? Heaven forbid!

This is a country where human rights are an after-thought. And if the Iranian regime can treat its own people so poorly, why would it think twice about using its nuclear weapons against another country? Like Israel? Or the United States? Or Canada?

We are puzzled about the same thing. When will the world react ? After the tragedy ? It is inconceivable to me that the Iran nuclear issue isn't on the "front-burner" of every media !
Allowing a nuclear Iran is the equivalent of giving a sub-machine gun to a one-year-old in a crowded day care.

I agree with you. I hate the fact that no one is taking quick actions against them. Its only a matter of time before history repeats it self and The U.S.A or Canada could be the next Hiroshima.....We have learnt nothing as a Country

Trust me I am not a supporter of Iran but how can we all now want to bomb Iran. We are still in Afganistan and have we forgotten all the " Weapons of Mass Destruction " that were supposedly in Iraq. Thousands of civilians and troops have died in those countries and nothing has gotten better in fact things are probably worse. Pakistan has hundreds of bombs and you hear nothing about them. Do we bomb them as well. What about North Korea? The last thing the USA needs to be dragged into now in another war because of Israel.
