Posted By: Barry Morgan · 10/11/2012 10:07:00 PM

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and tonight, I spent some time speaking with Monique Joseph who lost both her breasts to the disease.

Joseph is among the women featured in a book by The Gazette's Phil Carpenter; 'Breast Stories...Cancer Survivors Speak Out.'

Joseph spoke out on my show tonight about how she dealt with cancer and why she felt it was important to share her story.

There have never been so many breast cancer victims as we are witnessing today.

I believe that Mammograms is at the source of this malady.

Mammograms emits 700 times more rads than one single dental X ray does...

Women should wake-up to this reality... it is a billion-dollar money -making machine.

Mammogram machines were invented in 1983 and ever since then- Women have been exposed to Cancer . I say to women: " open your eyes Women" Ask for an ultra-sound instead- And Good Luck to you all! Concerned for all women.
