We had quite the discussion tonight on my show about whether or not people are born gay.

My guests were Debora Barr, a self-described former lesbian, who says nobody is born gay. My other guest was Michael Hendricks who, in 2004, married René Leboeuf to become the first same-sex couple to be legally married in Quebec.

As far as Barr is concerned, people can walk away from a life of same-sex attraction. Hendricks disagreed.

It was a compelling segment that offers two very different points of view.
