Make sure your computer doesn't go offline this Monday
Tech guru Carmi Levy spoke to Dan and Suzanne today about the DNS Changer malware that is threatening to cut tens of thousands of users off the internet on July 9.
The group of hackers who created the malware (called DNS Changer because it alters the DNS, or the function that connects a web address to the IP) have been caught, but the temporary internet servers that have been keeping infected users - and that may include you - connected, will go down on Monday.
Carmi suggested this Canadian site to see if your computer is infected. If you are, head to this site to figure out the next step.
