Bakersfield, California has a double-A hockey team called the Bakersfield Condors.  On Friday, they brought an live condor out on the ice during the National Anthem . . . and of course it got loose.  It tried to run across the ice, then the handler grabbed it and fell trying to run across the ice.  This all happened right in front of the girl who was singing the anthem.  Eventually, the bird jumped up onto the Condors' bench and almost took out the head coach.  The announcers laughed it off, the bird wasn't injured, or at least the bird is reported to not have been injured.  Pathetic display of stupidity.
