PASTA-GATE: Hear both sides.

Posted By: Ric Peterson · 2/20/2013 9:06:00 PM

Buonanotte, after more than twenty years serving such clients as Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Downey Jr, Robert De Niro, Bono, George Clooney and Matt Damon, has run into trouble with the language police.  The world famous Italian restaurant has been cited for having too much Italian on their menu!

The Minister responsible for the provincial 'tongue' troopers, Diane de Courcy wants an explanation saying she was actually surprised by the actions of the inspectors. "We will look into it and get back to you,"

I couldn't wait and Martin Bergeron of The Office Quebecois de la Langue Francaise explained their side of the story on the show today along with Buonanotte co-owner Massimo Lecas.

Hear both conversations on the player below the menu in question >>>

@cliff See now, the OQLF resolves 98% of the cases with the merchants.

They are nice and professionnal. Go OQLF !

Now let's stop bashing Québec from coast to coast and focus on the economy, health and education.
