If you've listened to my show, you've heard a lot of talk about school safety after the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut in December.
And I've talked with a number of people who think adding police to schools would be a very good way to go in terms of adding another layer of security for students and staff.
But my guest tonight does not support that kind of move. Nick Katalifos is the principal at Pierre De Coubertin Elementary School in Montreal. He explained why he is opposed to having police in his school.
But he also detailed the kind of security measures his school is using.
