Paralyzed Tory MP pushing for assisted suicide law

As you know, the Quebec government has passed an assisted suicide law. Some people see this as progressive, others see it as a terrible move and are very concerned for a number of reasons including the potential for abuse of the system.

I spoke today with Conservative MP Steven Fletcher, who was in involved in an accident many years ago that's left him paralyzed from the neck down.

Fletcher thinks Quebec made the right decision in passing its legislation and thinks Ottawa should do the same, even though his party, which is in power, disagrees.

You can hear his arguments in favor of euthanasia.
