Impact ready for 2nd stadium opener

Impact players smile when they say this season is so special it deserves 2 home openers.  Those smiles turn to determined looks as they try to establish Saputo Stadium as "our house" against the Seattle Sounders Saturday night in a game heard live on CJAD 800 (Countdown to Opening Kickoff at 7PM).

Coach Jesse Marsch admits the players will have to commit for a full 90 minutes after their 3-week break from MLS game action.   The club has lost 2 in a row since a draw against David Beckham's LA Galaxy set an attendence record at Olympic Stadium in mid-May.

Marsch confirmed Donovan Ricketts will start in goal but would would not officially confirm any other personnel.

Captain Davy Arnaud and Patrice Bernier say the club has trained hard to be sure it has the intensity after the long layoff.

Jeff Brovsky says the goal is clear: this club can make the playoffs.
