Beckham leaves L-A as a champion
David Beckham has left Major League Soccer as a two-time champion, with the Los Angeles Galaxy coming from behind to beat the Houston Dynamo 3-1 in the M-L-S Cup.
Landon Donovan scored the tiebreaking goal on a penalty kick in the 65th minute, as the Galaxy won their fourth M-L-S Cup in a rematch of last season's championship game.
Beckham will play elsewhere in the new year before eventually returning to M-L-S as a team owner, but he hasn't disclosed his immediate plans.
