Warner signs extension

The Montreal Impact announced on Thursday that the club and midfielder Collen Warner, who was entering the final year of his contract, have come to terms on an extension that will keep him in Montreal.

In his first season with the Impact in 2012 he set personal bests with 29 games played, 27 starts, 2,431 minutes of play and 32 shots.

Selected by the Impact in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft on November 23, he also started two Amway Canadian Championship games, and played the international matches against Olympique Lyonnais and Bologna FC.

The Impact will kick off its second season in MLS Saturday at 10:30pm  against the Sounders in Seattle. Catch the game here on CJAD!
