Cloak and dagger for Canadian synchro swimmers
Tracy Little from Pointe Claire and the rest of the Canadian syncho swim team have been training in Spain for the past month, getting ready to compete at the Summer Olympics in London.
Just exactly where in Spain, however, is a well-guarded secret.
Tracy joined me in The Locker Room from Spain, with the Canadian synchro swimmers hoping the element of surprise will work in their favour, in London.
"We have had an amazing year of keeping our routines secret," said Little. "No one has seen anything we are about to perform at the Olympics. It will be a major "wow" factor and we'll get points for that, because it's brand new stuff."
This will be Tracy's second Olympics.
"It seems from the last Games we've been working towards this, just wanting to get better. We finished fourth in the last games and that left me with a drive wanting more."
The Canadian Synchro swimmers will compete over two days, Aug. 9-10.
