Quebec judoka wins Canada's third medal
Canada's third medal of the London Games came from an unlikely source, 22-year-old Quebec City judoka Antoine Valois-Fortier.
He beat American Travis Stevens 1-0 in the 81kg class in the bronze medal match.
Canada's medal tally now stands at three medals, all bronze. Valois-Fortier's win came minutes after a bronze medal win the 10m meter synchonized diving final by two other Quebecers, Meaghan Benfeito and Roseline Filion.
It's Canada's first medal in judo since Nicolas Gill's silver in Sydney in 2000.
