A 15-year-old skateboarder was assaulted by the passenger of a blue Chevrolet Aveo outside his home in Châteauguay at around 8 PM Wednesday night.
Samuel Verville-Rozon says the car sped towards him but he was blinded by its lights.
When he tried to move out of the way, an arm or other object, with a mask on the end of it, hit him in his abdomen.
He went flying 15 feet before hitting the pavement; he passed out and woke up with a broken vertebra and a severe concussion.
“I’m very upset,” Samuel Verville-Rozon, told CJAD.
“This is very weird, I don’t know who did this but my whole city is searching for him.”
Samuel said he tried to get the licence plate but only found the mask on the pavement next to him when he woke up.
It was only after he walked home that his mother called police. Upon speaking to Samuel police discovered how severely injured he was and called an ambulance to rush him to the hospital.
Police are investigating and a few incidents involving a blue Aveo have been mentioned on the Spotted: Châteauguay Facebook page.
