A group of parents at Laval's Hillcrest Academy wants to make sure a teacher at the school never gets to come in contact with their kids.
The third-grade teacher in question is married to Howard Krupp, the 67-year-old man who was arrested last month in Kirkland for following children.
He also has a child pornography conviction on his record, for which he received an 18-month conditional sentence a decade ago.
Anna Vespoli, a parent at Hillcrest, says some of the parents will be showing up at a meeting at the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board's headquarters in Rosemere tonight, to make tghe point that she should be fired — or at the very least, assigned to some sort of desk job, away from the children.
"We feel like she's implicated — to what extent, we don't know, but we just don't feel safe," she says.
Krupp was re-arrested on Wednesday of last week outside Hillcrest, as he was sitting in his car. Two days later, the school sent a note to parents advising them of the arrest, and reminding parents and children to be careful around strangers.
Mrs. Krupp has been on a leave of absence from the school since Monday.
