Good news for the parents of the 10-year-old girl who went missing Monday at around 4:30 PM, after her school-taxi driver dropped her off in front of her Vieux- Longueuil apartment building.
Longueuil police say a patrol car was waved down by a citizen with the young girl outside St-Joseph school on Grande Allée, the school she attended, just after 8:30 Tuesday morning.
"She was crying but is healthy," Jean-Pierre Vouthinos with Longueil police said.
"It was clear that the citizen with her knew she was missing."
The young girl was transported to hospital and detectives will question her on where she spent the night once she is calm.
A full police operation, with over 25 officers and police dogs, was launched in front of her home on Truteau Street when her mother reported her missing at around 6:30 Monday night.
