Former journalist named to diplomatic post in NY

Former Radio Canada journalist and host Dominique Poirier has been named Quebec's delegate general in New York.

Poirier takes over the diplomatic post previously held by former PQ leader Andre Boisclair, who left in the fall to fight defamation allegations.
