The city of Montreal says it will take about a week to clear all of this weekend's snow from Montreal's streets.
And as it has in past years, the city will be offering designated areas where residents can park.
The city is offering 5,700 free parking spots while hundreds of snow-removal workers do their jobs.
In the meantime, Jacques-Alain Lavallée with the city of Montreal is reminding motorists to respect the orange no-parking signs, to ensure the snow-removal operation runs as smoothly as possible.
