Red Cross extends assistance to St Lambert fire victims

Most have not yet found a place to live

Good news for most of the displaced families following that south shore apartment building in St Lambert on Monday.

Assistance from the Red Cross is being extended.

That's because 53 of the 61 people have not yet found a place to live.

The emergency agency says it'll reassess the situation next Monday.

A general alarm fire broke out at the Plamondons street complex.

There were no injuries.
