Snow removal about three quarters finished

Just over 70 per cent done: city

The city of Montreal announced Saturday just over 70 per cent of the snow had been removed.

Officials said they hoped it'll all be gone by the new year.

They're asking motorists to co-operate, stressing the importance of respecting no parking signs.

The city has provided 5700 free spots for motorists who have no where to park.
