There appears to be very little change in property tax rates in several municipalities off the western tip of the island.
Homeowners in Pincourt, for instance, will pay 1.8 cents more per $100 — for the average homeowner, that would amount to an increase of $18.
There will be a slight increase in Pincourt's sewer tax, and a $120 decrease in the garbage tax. Everything else in Pincourt will stay the same this year.
Ile the town of Ile-Perrot, property taxes will be up slightly by 20 cents per $100, while residents will also see decreases in most other taxes.
Residents of St. Lazare will see an increase in their property taxes of between 1.6 and 1.8 per cent, while most other charges will remain unchanged.
Across the board, the largest revenue losses for off-island municipalities will come from the elimination of provincial sales tax refunds.
